Anita Desai -Introduction and Work Introduction- Anita desai a famous novelist.She born in 1937 mussoori India .Her mother is Toni Nime (German).her father D.N.Mazumdar a Bengali businessman. She grew up speaking German at home and Bengali, Hindi,Urdu,and English at out side . She went Queen Mary's H.S.school Delhi .She completed B.A.English Literature in 1957 from the Miranda house of the university of Delhi.
